"I wanted to drop a review of Dr. Mitra to all of those out there that struggle with cataract issues. For four years, I have been dealing with blurred and double (shadowed) vision. It made me feel older than I am. I had three doctors tell me that my sight just should not be that bad. Streetlights had bad halos around them. Taillights on cars were triple in image and blurred. Trees were blurred and dull. I was always squinting even though I had corrected my contact prescription. For three years, I felt as though something else was wrong because others said that I just should not be that bad. I went to Dr Mitra in August of this year and described the symptoms. She looked at my eyes and said we need to do cataract surgery and it should fix your issues. What I noticed the most about her was that she would always stop and listen when I was talking about symptoms and issues. Most doctors will come to conclusions too quickly in my opinion and not really listen to you. She is the kind of doctor that we all hope we get when we go to see the doctor. She listens first and then makes a decision on how to proceed. The surgery took about 17 min per eye. If you are squirming about someone sticking / poking your eye, do not be. You do not even feel it and you do not care. Sit back and enjoy what I thought was like watching a movie about the solar system. She books your surgery's close to each other, usually 2 weeks apart. Take her recommendation on this, as having one eye done without the other is difficult. Knowing what you are going to see and wanting that while still having another eye messed up is difficult. Her follow up visits are just the same as your initial visit always making sure to listen and adjust if you both decide. She is awesome and my eyesight is awesome. I would give her 10 stars if I could. Don't wait if you have cataracts, go see Dr. Mitra!!!"

"I have been fortunate to have Dr. Mitra Ayazifar perform my two eye surgeries. In 2019, I elected to have a lower lid blepharoplasty ( lower lid surgery) to improve the puffy bags under my eyes. I was given a thorough explanation of what the surgery and cost would be. All my questions and concerns were thoughtfully answered by Dr. Mitra.
